Getting Ripped Under A Tight Schedule – The Facts!

Getting Ripped Under A Tight Schedule Posted On

It’s the biggest thing you’ll see on any fitness forums, can you get ripped in a short space of time? With summer and beach season comes an influx of people trying crash diets combined with HIIT and giving up after 4 days because it’s too much for them to handle. But is it something that can be accomplished? Christian Bale went from The Machinist to playing Batman in six months. And so many other actors have shared their fitness routines all over Instagram, but does that mean that us mere mortals can do it too? Well, let’s address what the fundamentals are if you are deathly serious about it.

Have A Goal In Mind

If you don’t have one, make it as specific as possible. “Getting ripped” isn’t going to cut it. What do you really want? Defined triceps? A six-pack? Be as specific as possible in your body goals because it helps you start planning ahead and visualizing what will make you happy and pleased with your body.

Adequate Recovery

This is something that everyone who’s trying to get ripped in a short space of time will neglect. Sleep is where you will build the muscle, and if you don’t sleep much, then you’re not going to build the desired muscle. People think they need to be at the gym seven days a week, but this simply isn’t true. Make sure you have the right tools at your disposal, and you could order steroids to help the recovery process, but use them sensibly. When you are pushed for time, these can be a help with the right ratio of protein and recovery. Sleep, combined with the right supplements, such as BCAAs, and adequate protein will recover you properly before you get back to the gym because if you’re not fully recharged, you won’t build the muscle and you are more likely to injure yourself.

Fuel Yourself Properly

Much like a car, if you give it the wrong fuel it’s not going to run properly. And you need to get into this mindset if you’re trying to get ripped, this is especially important during the latter or cutting stages of muscling up, where you are losing the fat to show off your muscles and give them much more definition. You know the essentials, plenty of vegetables, make half your plate green, as well as the right amount protein for your weight, and carbs to replenish your glycogen stores so you can get back to the gym quicker!

Understand The Importance Of Not Being Stressed

Have you heard of cortisol? This stress hormone will waste muscle and potentially stop you from building anymore, so you need to avoid this at all costs. This is why the right mindset is vital for a solid workout routine. If you live a stressful lifestyle and don’t have the tools to combat it, your chances of getting ripped are very slim. Which is why sleep and diet are vital, not only is the right diet key for building muscle, but it will reduce inflammation and stress in the body!
