Garcinia Cambogia is the extract of the tamarind plant. Tamarind isn’t used so much in western cookery. But it’s a popular flavour on the Indian subcontinent.

What’s interesting about those that eat tamarind is that they tend to be the slimmest and the healthiest. When British missionaries went to India in the 1930s, they couldn’t help noticing how robust they all were. And they hadn’t heard of such a thing as fitness.
